          "text": "<p><strong>THE POSITION: </strong></p><p>The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely accounting transactions and reconciliations including posting entries to the general ledger, analyzing data, managing month-end close processes and collaborating with employees throughout the organization. This position also works with third party auditors to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong><br>\nOur employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams.&#xa0; These results are achieved by:</p><ul><li>Responsible for meeting established month end close deadlines for preparing journal entries.</li><li>Lead the resolution of issues on all assigned accounts and reconciliations to ensure proper and accurate reporting.</li><li>Identify areas of concern in accounting records and provide proactive analysis and support to the company.</li><li>Prepare audit schedules and work with auditors on questions.</li><li>Recommend and implement improvements to accounting controls, procedures<u>,</u> and policies.</li><li>Identify opportunities and make recommendations for cost reductions/improvements.</li><li>Serve as backup to other roles within the Finance department as needed.</li><li>Assist with consolidation processes including review and recording of reporting packages from international locations, intercompany eliminations, and foreign currency accounting.</li><li>Assist with purchase accounting and integration of acquisitions.</li><li>All other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><em>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.</em></p><p><strong>EXPECT</strong><strong>AT</strong><strong>IONS OF THE JOB:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Travel </strong>– N/A</li><li><strong>Hours</strong> – 40+, typically Monday - Friday</li></ul><p><em>The above list reflects the general details necessary to describe the expectations of the position and shall not be construed as the only expectations that may be assigned for the position.</em></p><p><em>An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the expectations listed above. </em></p>",
