We offer <u>competitive pay and benefits, and well-being programs</u> to support you and your family.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To Learn More Visit: http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/.</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>At Centrus Energy’s Oak Ridge Technology & Manufacturing Center, you’ll help design and integrate next‑generation nuclear systems—work that directly contributes to national energy security and the future of clean power. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Contribute to thermal‑fluid and heat‑transfer modeling for nuclear applications, translating analysis into practical design decisions;</li>\n <li>Support structural and materials evaluations using modern simulation tools; help link results to reliability and safety objectives;</li>\n <li>Draft clear technical documentation: design specs, test plans, and verification procedures;</li>\n <li>Collaborate with senior engineers across mechanical, nuclear, and systems disciplines to integrate models with real equipment; and</li>\n <li>Participate in safety reviews, risk assessments, and system verification activities; learn our disciplined review culture.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education and Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or a related field (Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear, or Systems Engineering). (required)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills, Experience and Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Academic or project experience in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, or structural analysis. </li>\n <li>Experience with flow calculations. </li>\n <li>Experience with P&IDs. </li>\n <li>Familiarity with modeling tools such as ANSYS, SolidWorks, MATLAB, etc. </li>\n <li>Due to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship. (required)</li>\n <li>Due to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing. (required)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Please note that marijuana remains a Schedule III controlled substance under Federal Law.
