Join our team as our new <strong>Senior Cloud </strong><strong>Infrastructure</strong> <strong>Architect</strong>! </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Axway is seeking a highly skilled cloud infrastructure expert with deep hands-on experience in <strong>Microsoft Azure</strong>, enterprise infrastructure operations, Kubernetes, Linux administration, and hybrid cloud environments. This role will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and supporting mission-critical cloud infrastructure solutions for enterprise customers globally.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure, cloud-native technologies, containerized environments, Kubernetes orchestration, Linux systems administration, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices. Multi-cloud experience across AWS and/or GCP is strongly preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> United States</p>\n<p><strong>Remote:</strong> Must be in the U.S. and Open to Travel</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design and implement scalable cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure and on-premises technologies.</li>\n <li>Architect and support highly available, resilient, and disaster recovery-enabled infrastructure environments.</li>\n <li>Design and implement secure Azure networking solutions including:\n  <ul>\n   <li>VNets</li>\n   <li>ExpressRoute</li>\n   <li>VPN Gateway</li>\n   <li>Azure Firewall</li>\n   <li>NSGs</li>\n   <li>Load Balancers</li>\n   <li>Application Gateway / WAF</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Deploy and support mission-critical applications using Azure infrastructure services.</li>\n <li>Act as technical lead for customer onboarding, migration, and cloud infrastructure projects.</li>\n <li>Design, deploy, administer, and troubleshoot enterprise Linux and Windows server environments.</li>\n <li>Manage Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and hybrid identity integrations.</li>\n <li>Deploy, administer, and support Kubernetes environments, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).</li>\n <li>Support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes orchestration technologies.</li>\n <li>Manage Kubernetes cluster operations including scaling, upgrades, patching, monitoring, ingress, storage, and security.</li>\n <li>Partner with DevOps and engineering teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native application deployments.</li>\n <li>Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational activities using Terraform, scripting, and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.</li>\n <li>Administer infrastructure monitoring and observability platforms such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and Nagios.</li>\n <li>Support enterprise hosting technologies including backup, replication, storage, proxy, and load balancing solutions.</li>\n <li>Provide advanced L3 support across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and storage platforms.</li>\n <li>Perform infrastructure lifecycle management, patching, capacity planning, and operational optimization.</li>\n <li>Participate in audits, disaster recovery testing, operational governance, and security compliance initiatives.</li>\n <li>Conduct root cause analysis and drive long-term operational improvements.</li>\n <li>Participate in after-hours support rotations and scheduled maintenance activities as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>9+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure environments.</li>\n <li>Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure services including:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Azure Virtual Machines</li>\n   <li>Azure Storage</li>\n   <li>Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)</li>\n   <li>Azure Virtual Network</li>\n   <li>Azure Firewall</li>\n   <li>Azure Monitor</li>\n   <li>Azure Backup</li>\n   <li>Azure Site Recovery</li>\n   <li>Key Vault</li>\n   <li>Entra ID (Azure AD)</li>\n   <li>Application Gateway / WAF</li>\n   <li>ExpressRoute</li>\n   <li>VPN Gateway</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Strong experience supporting hybrid cloud and hybrid identity environments.</li>\n <li>Deep hands-on Linux administration experience in enterprise production environments.</li>\n <li>Strong expertise with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.</li>\n <li>Strong hands-on experience deploying, administering, upgrading, and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments.</li>\n <li>Experience supporting cloud-native architectures, microservices platforms, and container orchestration frameworks.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of Kubernetes ecosystem technologies including:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Helm</li>\n   <li>RBAC</li>\n   <li>Ingress Controllers</li>\n   <li>Persistent Storage</li>\n   <li>Cluster Networking</li>\n   <li>Monitoring & Logging integrations</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Strong scripting and automation experience using Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, Python, ARM Templates, or Bicep.</li>\n <li>Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tooling such as Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Puppet, or Ansible.</li>\n <li>Strong networking knowledge including routing, switching, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, reverse proxy, HAProxy, and NGINX.</li>\n <li>Experience implementing infrastructure hardening and security best practices aligned to CIS and NIST frameworks.</li>\n <li>Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability platforms.</li>\n <li>Experience working with ServiceNow, Salesforce, Jira, or similar ITSM/ticketing platforms preferred.</li>\n <li>Multi-cloud experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) strongly preferred.</li>\n <li>Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently in fast-paced production operations environments.</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience collaborating across global teams.</li>\n <li>Customer-first mindset with strong stakeholder management capabilities.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Preferred Certifications</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert</li>\n <li>Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate</li>\n <li>Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) preferred</li>\n
