This is your opportunity to join one of the safest and largest contracts in the region. Successful candidates will become a part of that union.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What You'll Be Doing</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Complete repairs on mining equipment, including Haul Trucks, Excavators, Shovels, and Dozers (CAT/Hitachi/Komatsu)</li>\n <li>Develop a work scope</li>\n <li>Fabricate from blueprints</li>\n <li>Complete reports and fill out work orders when required</li>\n <li>Teach and evaluate apprentices</li>\n <li>Follow NACG codes of practice and safety procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What Makes You the ONE</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>1-2 years experience working on heavy equipment (CAT/Hitachi/Komatsu)</li>\n <li>Journeyperson Welder ticket</li>\n <li>First Aid</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills</li>\n <li>Proficiency in English, both written and verbal </li>\n <li>Intermediate computer skills</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Self motivated</li>\n <li>Willingness to learn</li>\n <li>Show leadership skills</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Summary</h2>\n<p><strong>What's Next</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you are chosen to move forward in our hiring process, you will be asked to provide the following:</p>\n<li>Provide a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and a recent Driver’s Abstract</li>\n<li>Undergo and successfully pass the following pre-employment testing:</li>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Breath Alcohol Test</li>\n   <li>Urine Drug Test</li>\n   <li>Fitness-to-Work Assessment</li>\n   <li>Audiometric Testing</li>\n   <li>Vision Screening</li>\n   <li>Criminal Record Check</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Once moved into onboarding, the following processes will occur:</p>\n<li>Will receive a call from NACG to set up all required pre-employment testing</li>\n<li>An email will be sent with all required New Hire Paperwork to be filled out</li>\n<li>After all results and paperwork are received by NACG, candidates will be contacted by us to schedule orientation and confirm your start date and other location (site) specific details.</li>\n<p><em>Please note: The onboarding process can take anywhere from 3-8 business days.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE, SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED VIA PHONE OR EMAIL.</strong></em></p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>NACG in a Nutshell </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>North American Construction Group (NACG) has served as an industry leader in the heavy construction and mining industries for over 65 years.
