Knowing that airports are a key economic driver and source of pride for the geographic areas they serve, we proudly perform as partners in more than facilities and other infrastructure. &nbsp;We partner in success.</p>\n<p><strong>DESCRIPTION</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Michael Baker International is seeking an <strong>Aviation Senior Project Manager</strong> to be based near New York City in the Tri-State Region. This position is a leadership role within the local office and the&nbsp;aviation practice.</p>\n<p><br>\n The Aviation Senior Project Manager opportunity will offer challenging design work on airfields as well as ancillary facilities surrounding airports such as access roads, parking lots, and development sites. It will also offer both planning and airport capital program administration opportunities. The Aviation Practice is looking to expand its business and is looking for an individual who is eager to join our team in the challenge of expanding our business.</p>\n<p>You will be accountable for performance against metrics including:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead project delivery as Senior Project Manager on projects by providing technical direction and oversight to the design team; oversight of financial management, adherence to quality control processes, and appropriate level of delegation to and oversight of supporting staff.</li>\n <li>Develop and implement a business strategy to grow the aviation practice focused on New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia based clients.</li>\n <li>Serve as Client Manager for Aviation clients including Port Authority of New York New Jersey, City of Philadelphia, South Jersey Transportation Authority and other key markets within the &nbsp;NJ/NY/Philadelphia region.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Lead market research and business development to create/expand industry relationships, pursue and win engineering and planning projects at commercial service and general aviation airports.</li>\n <li>Serve as a Relationship Manager with one or more New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia based clients.</li>\n <li>Lead the growth of the practice which includes business development, client engagement, and staff growth.</li>\n <li>Lead proposal, interview, fee development and negotiations for various project pursuits.</li>\n <li>Cross-market other discipline services and solutions. Support other disciplines that have existing client relationships and leverage those relationships for growth opportunities.</li>\n <li>Assist/lead design-build pursuits including strategic pursuit planning, teaming, proposal development and execution.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with regional office leadership with respect to staff assignments, workshare, mentorship, business development, and quality of project deliverables.</li>\n <li>Professionally represent Michael Baker International at technical meetings with agency staff, clients, contractors, and professional organizations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Science, Civil Engineering or Planning</li>\n <li>15+ years of related experience and a registered Professional Engineer in NY and/or NJ preferred. UAS pilot license bonus.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience with task management of aviation projects and client management for both horizontal and vertical design projects at commercial service and general aviation airports.</li>\n <li>Knowledgeable with FAA Advisory circulars and orders that pertain to airport planning and design</li>\n <li>Proficiency with AutoCAD, GIS, Airport GIS and Microsoft Office Suite</li>\n <li>Design experience in airfield infrastructure including runway, taxiway and ramp geometry, airfield pavements; safety areas; airfield grading; storm water systems and construction phasing. &nbsp;Experience in airfield lighting and navigational aids is considered a plus.</li>\n <li>Familiarity and experience with FAA’s pavement design software, FAARFIELD preferred.</li>\n <li>Ability to travel between various Michael Baker offices and/or client locations in the Northeast</li>\n <li>Professional certifications (i.e. AICP, AAAE, AAE, CM, or PMP) are a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>COMPENSATION</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The approximate compensation range for this position is $135,000 to $200,000.&nbsp; This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.&nbsp; Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.</p>\n<p><strong>BENEFITS</strong></p>\n<p>We offer a comprehensive benefits package including: &nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, dental, vision insurance &nbsp;</li>\n <li>401K Retirement Plan</li>\n <li>Health Savings Account (HSA)</li>\n <li>Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)</li>\n <li>Life, AD&amp;D, short-term and long-term disability &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Generous paid time off &nbsp;Professional and personal development</li>\n <li>Commuter and wellness benefits</li>\n <li>Project Manager Bonuses</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>#LI-HYBRID #LI-KR1</p>",
