    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Practice Leader to expand our Structures practice in Denver, CO! </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>This position will support the growth of the firm in our heavy civil, facilities infrastructure, and/or building structures practices</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain good relationships with coworkers, industry peers, and clients</li>\n <li>Perform and review structural design calculations, prepare project document submittal packages, and maintain Quality Control for the entire project</li>\n <li>Conduct site investigations and structural evaluations while documentmenting field observations and preparing technical reports</li>\n <li>Support and participate in meetings and presentations with clients, owners, contractors, and design team members</li>\n <li>Contribute to identifying project opportunities through networking with new and existing clients</li>\n <li>Leadership responsibilities include:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Operating with integrity and sound business principles</li>\n   <li>Providing vision, business planning and strategy</li>\n   <li>Establishing goals</li>\n   <li>Building and maintaining positive client relationships</li>\n   <li>Having open communication with your partners and team</li>\n   <li>Growing and leading a structural practice</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Our Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor</li>\n <li>The successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business</li>\n <li>With success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of an impressive bonus program with the potential to advance to ownership</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>15+ years of diversified structural engineering experience</li>\n <li>Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license</li>\n <li>History of providing technical design and planning on a variety of structures</li>\n <li>Knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup with some ability to produce drawings and details, when needed</li>\n <li>Knowledge and experience in structural analysis and design software, such as STAAD, RAM, E-Tabs, MathCAD, TEDDS, ADAPT PT, and other structural related design software</li>\n <li>Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills</li>\n <li>Strong desire and ability to be engaged with clients solving project problems</li>\n <li>Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization</li>\n <li>Ability to manage and mentor staff and direct resources effectively in a positive manner</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably</li>\n <li>Experience writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Salary Range:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><em>$160k - $200k</em></li>\n <li><em>Eligble for lucrative performance based compensation</em></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why Kimley-Horn?</h2>\n<p>At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
