Here, you will make an impact by:</p><ul><li>Laying out, facilitating, planning, and documenting the installation, maintenance, repair, replacement, modification, troubleshooting, diagnosing, programming, optimization, and design of existing and new manufacturing equipment.</li><li>Maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment components and pumps.</li><li><span>Installing/upgrading,</span> and calibrating equipment.</li><li>Performing preventive maintenance and housekeeping tasks.</li><li>Completing shop records and use reporting systems following established procedures.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Your Skills and Expertise  </span></b><br />To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:</p><ul><li>Possess or be within six (6) months of obtaining a two (2) year technical degree/diploma in a maintenance field</li><li>Six (6) or more months of PLC <span>troubleshooting/programming</span> experience</li><li>Interested and available to work weekends, overtime, holidays as needed, and short notice shift coverage.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:</b></p><ul><li>Strong multi-skill aptitude in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Experience working with Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Analog and digital AC/DC drive systems, and/or <span>Calibrations/metrology.</span></li><li>Experience working with mechanical systems: bearings, gearboxes, pumps, and pneumatic/hydraulic</li><li>Experience working with the following electrical diagrams: PLC logic, process flow diagrams, instrument flow diagrams and/or P&amp;ID drawings</li><li>Experience working with electrical tools, test equipment and instruments used in industrial plant applications</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Location: </span></b>Hutchinson, MN</p><p><b><span>Travel: </span></b>N/A</p><p><b><span>Relocation Assistance: </span></b>Not Authorized</p><p></p><p><b><span>Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).</span></b></p><p></p><p><b><span>Supporting Your Well-being</span></b> </p><p>3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
