We are a community of educators who seek to grow together in our craft knowledge to ensure that we thrive as professionals and our students thrive as learners and citizens.</p><p><strong>Atlanta Montessori International School - Cliff Valley</strong><strong>&nbsp;is currently seeking a Lead Montessori Teacher for our Upper Elementary classroom.&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Lead Montessori Teacher</strong></p><p><strong>Position summary:</strong></p><p>The Lead Montessori Teacher will implement curriculum in a safe, healthy and nurturing classroom environment that supports each child&rsquo;s social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth and development.</p><ul><li dir=\"auto\">Facilitate classroom activities.</li><li dir=\"auto\">Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons while holding true to the Montessori Model.</li><li dir=\"auto\">Establish classroom management utilizing positive coaching.</li><li dir=\"auto\">Encourage and assist in positive social interactions.</li><li dir=\"auto\">Ensure safety and well-being of children at all times.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience and Education:</strong></p><ul><li dir=\"auto\">Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field or equivalent professional experience.</li><li dir=\"auto\">AMI or AMS certification.</li><li dir=\"auto\">Knowledgeable about Montessori philosophy and materials.</li><li dir=\"auto\">Prior experience with assigned age group.</li><li dir=\"auto\">Experience working in a certified child development center.</li><li dir=\"auto\">Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation</li></ul><p><strong>New employees will be required to provide results to an FDA-approved COVID-19 test that shows a negative result taken no more than three days before the start date. &nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Why work for us?
