From gorgeous, wood-beam bed frames to plush, hand-dyed blankets, each of our 142 rooms and suites embraces Vermont&rsquo;s signature style.</p><p><strong>One of the most beloved resorts in New England, The Woodstock Inn &amp; Resort, is seeking an Inn Maintenance worker to join the team!</strong></p><p><strong>Job Summary:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Inn Maintenance workers are responsible for supporting and performing maintenance and repair throughout the Inn.</p><p><strong>Job Specifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Expected Pay Range:&nbsp;Starting $23.00 per hour<ul><li><em>The pay scale shown is the range that we reasonably expect to pay. Actual compensation offered may be adjusted based on a candidate&rsquo;s qualifications and/or experience.</em></li></ul></li><li>Shift &amp; Schedule Availability: Full time year round</li><li>2:00pm-10:00pm Tuesday - Saturday &nbsp; &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Preventive maintenance is to be performed regularly to ensure proper function and safety.</li><li>Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be used at all times.</li><li>Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas and resort public areas.</li><li>Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of department equipment; use equipment only as intended.</li><li>All necessary safety measures will be used in accordance to OSHA regulations to prevent employees, guests, vendors, all others and property from becoming hurt or damaged.</li><li>Maintain positive guest relations at all times.</li><li>Select appropriate materials in accordance with task(s) being performed.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Job Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Minimum of 21 years of age.</li><li>Plumbing, carpentry skills and electrical basic knowledge is a must.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of correct maintenance and use of department equipment; use equipment only as intended.</li><li>All necessary safety measures will be used in accordance with OSHA regulations to prevent employees, guests, vendors, all others and property from becoming hurt or damaged.</li><li>Must possess a valid drivers&rsquo; license &amp; clean driving record.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to lift &amp; move 75 pounds.</li><li>Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team. &nbsp;</li></ul><p>We offer great resort privileges, discounts, and free employee meal to all employees.</p><p>This is a full-time, year-round position and eligible for a competitive benefits package, after an initial waiting period that includes * Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage, *Employer Paid: Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability* Paid Time Off, * 401k Retirement Plan with Employer match.&nbsp;</p><p>Our success is the direct result of dynamic, dedicated people with a passion for hospitality who enjoy being part of a devoted, hard-working team.
