You will be responsible for pulling daily delivery orders, loading delivery trucks, and performing manual material handling of parts. Additionally, you will operate an industrial lift truck and pallet jack to assist with the handling of parts.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Hours:</strong> Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Honor Commitments:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of parts, meeting delivery deadlines.</li><li>Complete paperwork with a bill of lading and assemble mail.</li><li>Transport parts from the vehicle to the requested customer location in the building when delivering parts to customers.</li></ul><p><strong>Create Positive Experiences:</strong></p><ul><li>Providing exceptional customer service during deliveries.</li><li>Work with the Parts Counter person to handle credits and returns.</li></ul><p><strong>Foster Lifelong Learning:</strong></p><ul><li>Staying updated on delivery routes and best practices for efficient delivery.</li></ul><p><strong>Exhibit Pioneering Spirit:</strong></p><ul><li>Being proactive in addressing delivery challenges and finding innovative solutions.</li></ul><p><strong>Demonstrate Good Stewardship:</strong></p><ul><li>Safeguarding company assets, including vehicles and parts, and following all safety protocols.</li><li>Pull daily delivery orders from inventory at the branch and load the delivery truck.</li><li>Perform manual material handling of parts for delivery to/from branches and customer sites.</li><li>Operate industrial lift truck and pallet jack.</li><li>Perform all pre-trip truck inspections and fuel vehicles.</li><li>Drive delivery van or parts vehicle throughout an 8-hour shift, making up to 25 stops.</li><li>Use a pallet jack to move parts to the requested location in the customer's building.</li><li>Perform all other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Other Duties as Assigned:</strong></p><ul><li>Adapt to the evolving needs of the organization and undertake additional responsibilities as required, reflecting our commitment to flexibility and responsiveness in meeting business objectives.</li></ul><p>The above list reflects the general details necessary to describe the principle and essential functions of the position and shall not be construed as the only duties that may be assigned for the position.</p><p>An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
