In addition, you will be a lead in the nomination and validation of new targets at the macrophage-stromal interface with the potential to deliver therapeutic impact in both oncology and fibrosis disease areas.</span></p><p style=\"color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:'Times New Roman';font-size:medium;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;text-transform:none;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;\">You will also be a key member of a team establishing macrophage-based target screening assays combined with our novel extracellular matrix-based cell models and will utilise cellular, immunological, biochemical, molecular biology and functional genomic approaches to validate drug targets and novel therapeutic agents.</span></p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span><ul><li style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;\">Establish high throughput supply of monocyte derived macrophages for multiple groups across the Engitix organisation</li><li style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;\">Drive novel macrophage drug target nomination and validation</li><li style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;\">Optimise co-culture assay systems based on stromal-macrophage interface in 2D and 3D platforms for drug screening</li><li style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;\">Optimise macrophage target screening-based systems utilising functional genomic approaches such as siRNA and CrispR.</li><li style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;\">Analyse, interpret, report and present results</li></ul>"
