    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p style=\"margin-left:2.0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>Quality Assurance Specialist</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Overview</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Quality Specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Quality Assurance and the on-site testing laboratory. This role serves as a subject matter expert in quality systems and processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting customer expectations. Accuracy, organization, and attention to detail are critical in this position.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Maintain and continuously improve the quality program to ensure systems meet customer specifications and company requirements.</li><li>Lead and manage laboratory functions, including:<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Calibration of lab equipment (acting as SME or vendor point-of-contact).</li><li>Oversight of the proficiency testing program.</li><li>Managing Certificates of Conformance/Analysis (COC/COA) processes for incoming materials and finished goods.</li><li>Serving as ERP system subject matter expert within the Quality department.</li></ul></li><li>Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to evaluate standards, quality, and reliability.</li><li>Execute validation and verification requirements for the Milwaukee site per SQF Code.</li><li>Train, coach, and guide employees on testing and inspection activities.</li><li>Provide quality training and onboarding for new hires.</li><li>Expedite disposition of non-conforming materials (raw, in-process, customer returns) on quality hold.</li><li>Investigate and resolve customer complaints, including managing return material authorization processes.</li><li>Act as designated backup for the Quality Manager, including serving as backup SQF Practitioner.</li><li>Ensure product safety and compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with plant operations, sales, and customer service teams on quality-related issues.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Background / Experience</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>1&ndash;5 years of experience in manufacturing quality assurance, preferably in packaging.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field preferred.</li><li>Certified SQF Practitioner.</li><li>Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Skills and Competencies</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Ability to thrive in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.</li><li>Strong typing and documentation skills.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><em>&ldquo;ABX Innovative Packaging Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
