Description

Overview Symbria Rx Services located in Auburn, MA is looking to add a PRN Pharmacy Delivery Driver to their team! The primary purpose of this position is to deliver medications and other supplies to all client communities and its residents. 📅 If you’d like to learn more about the role or have questions, feel free to schedule a quick call with me here: Book time with Jessica Tyler Responsibilities Inspect assigned vehicle; check fluid levels, gas, and air pressure and adjust accordingly to ensure safe and proper operation. Complete vehicle inspection report daily and report any problems to the supervisor. Verify all orders are properly processed and bagged for delivery. Ability to follow pre-assigned delivery routes. Meet the daily deadlines of scheduled medication deliveries. Return all items sent back by the community to the appropriate area after each run. Complete and file all documentation required regarding deliveries, including written and digital signatures establishing proof of delivery Assist in the process of community returns in pharmacy software according to policies and procedures. Communicates any client concerns to management. Any and all duties as assigned. Responsibilities based on Route/Location Complete on-site medication replenishments at the client communities on a regular schedule. Physical Requirements The various responsibilities for a delivery driver are often physically demanding and require that the driver be in good physical condition. Must be able to withstand prolonged or considerable walking, standing, reaching, stooping and bending. Must be able to lift, position or transfer supplies and equipment; minimum lifting required is 60 lbs. Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Minimum 18 years of age. Valid driver’s license and a "violation free" driving record as per the driver’s eligibility requirements. General computer knowledge including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot basic computer problems. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Act as a liaison between communities and pharmacy displaying professional customer service and communication skills. Must be able to work weekends, holidays and alternate shifts for PTO/staffing coverages as 24/7/365 operational needs dictate. Why work for us?
