Our wide experience in meeting industrial plant maintenance needs enables us to implement systems and processes that keep your facilities and equipment running at consistently optimum levels.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong><strong>Job Title: </strong>Welder-- Franklinton, NC</p>\n<p><strong> Job Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>MOR PPM Inc. seeks a welder for an on-going maintenance job in Franklinton.  The welder lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs piping systems, pipe supports, fixtures. Also welds structural steel to repair damaged structures and perform maintenance on existing metal frameworks.</p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Possess the ability to use the English language to communicate (both verbally and in writing)</li>\n <li>Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and hydraulic diagrams</li>\n <li>Have a complete set of tools appropriate for Industrial pipe fitting/welding</li>\n <li>Ability to stoop, bend, manipulate tools in small spaces</li>\n <li>Perform work at heights</li>\n <li>Ability to frequently lift and/or move varied objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Perform and pass pipe coupon weld test</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 4 years welding preferably in an industrial setting.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong>Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign</li>\n <li>May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above</li>\n <li>Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas</li>\n <li>Must have full range of motion consistent with age</li>\n <li>Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders</li>\n <li>Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises</li>\n <li>Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces</li>\n <li>Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#ppm </p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
