    "description": "<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Purpose</span></span></span></p>\n<p>As a Senior Network Specialist, you'll take ownership of our enterprise network infrastructure evolution, leading critical projects that enhance our connectivity capabilities.</p>\n<p>You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement forward-thinking network solutions that support our business objectives while maintaining the highest standards of security, reliability, and performance.</p>\n<p>Oversee and manage the enterprise Channels (LAN/WAN) infrastructure, as well as handling the administration and optimization of service providers connectivity. <br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate technical activities between internal teams, vendors, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery<br>Provide expert guidance as a subject matter expert for routing, switching, and wireless technologies</li>\n<li>Drive standardization and implementation of industry best practices across our regional network environment</li>\n<li>Contribute strategic insights during architecture discussions and network roadmap planning sessions</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to L2/L3 connectivity, wireless systems, and network segmentation</li>\n<li>Ensure optimal performance of our network infrastructure with a focus on high availability, security, and efficiency</li>\n<li>Develop comprehensive documentation including technical specifications and implementation plans.</li>\n<li>Design, deploy, configure, and maintain the banks LAN and WAN infrastructure to ensure optimal network performance, availability, and security. </li>\n<li>Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems. </li>\n<li>Evaluate and recommend network hardware, software, and services to optimize network infrastructure and support future growth. </li>\n<li>Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, standard operating procedures, and configuration detail.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Skills, Knowledge &amp; Competencies</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of bank’s products and operations.</li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge of the Network Support and troubleshooting.</li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, protocols, and standards. </li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge of Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers &amp; Lightweight Access Points.</li>\n<li>Advanced Knowledge of Network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls. </li>\n<li>Advanced Knowledge telecommunications protocols and standards, voice and data infrastructure tools and services, QoS design and operation </li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge of Data Centre Network Technologies (DC Interconnect, Cisco Nexus, VPC, Cisco ACI, SAN, UCS, FI etc.) </li>\n<li>Deep understanding of Enterprise Network and Cybersecurity Technologies (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, QoS, route redistribution, loop prevention, etc.) </li>\n<li>Strong expertise in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. </li>\n<li>Committed to self-development and enthusiastic about acquiring new skills and embracing new technologies </li>\n<li>Team player that motivates and educates other team members. <br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Academic / Professional Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Networking, Information Technology, Telecommunication, Systems Engineering or any Technology related field.</li>\n<li>Proven experience (5 years) as a Network Specialist, Network Engineer, or similar role.</li>\n<li>Must have valid CCNP Enterprise.</li>\n<li>Other necessary Professional certifications include CCNP Security, Checkpoint CCSA &amp; CCSE certifications.</li>\n<li>Relevant certifications (e.g., CCIE, PMP, ITILv3) will be an advantage.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Experience Required</span></span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 5 years in Managing Enterprise Networks</li>\n<li>In-depth experience of Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS, SDWAN, ACI, WAN, VPN, Wired and Wireless LAN technologies.</li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of and experience with major routing protocols; specifically, BGP and OSPF.<br></li>\n</ul>",
