    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Standing watch in the SURTASS Operations Center (SOC) onboard SURTASS Vessels to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair SURTASS mission equipment to support Fleet requirements, including maintaining all required records and logs and monitoring and sending record Naval Message Traffic</li>\n <li>Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on all SURTASS mission equipment in accordance with the PMS and other reference documents, as required</li>\n <li>Utilizing the WILD trouble ticket application to log all maintenance trouble tickets for action in the JSN/WKRQ log, which shall include all applicable labor, external technical assistance, parts, and time expended</li>\n <li>Maintaining an accurate logistics inventory as provided by the Government, and provide periodic updates to the Product Support Facility (PSF)</li>\n <li>Operating the shipboard test equipment pool used with SURTASS mission equipment, including ensuring it is in calibration through early and frequent coordination with the PSF</li>\n <li>Maintaining a technical library on each ship to support all SURTASS mission equipment</li>\n <li>Performing the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electro-mechanical systems onboard SURTASS vessels</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING</strong></p>\n<p><em>#LI-LH1</em></p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be a graduate of a US Navy mechanical, electrical, or electronics program, accredited trade school or apprenticeship program, or equivalent\n  <ul>\n   <li>Curriculum must have dealt directly with the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electro-mechanical systems</li>\n   <li>At a minimum, the curriculum must demonstrate training on hydraulic power systems and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Three years of practical hands-on experience in the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and HVAC systems </li>\n <li>DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required within 12 months</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Desired Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>None</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Clearance Information</h2>\n<p><strong>SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL</strong></p>\n<h2>Travel Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Requires travel/underway periods of up to 90 days at a time</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Us</h2>\n<p>Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
