With whale watching, fishing, hiking trails and many more outdoor adventures readily available, this coastal region is a place to immerse yourself in its landscape and history.</p>\n<p>Job Summary:</p>\n<p>Performs non-invasive, routine, technical support services under the specific authorization and supervision of a licensed physician, podiatrist, physician assistant, nurse practitioner or nurse midwife. This position is represented by UFCW.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Job Requirements:</p>\n<div>\n <p>Education and Work Experience:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <p>Licenses/Certifications:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution: Required</li>\n  <li>Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) Health Care Provider certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required</li>\n  <li>Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP: Preferred</li>\n  <li>Phlebotomy certificate: Preferred</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <p>Facility Specific License/Certifications:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required</li>\n  <li>Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or California Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Medical Assistant - NCCT (NCCT) or Certified Medical Assistant- NHA (CMA-NHA) or Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Medical Assistant (MA) or American Medical Tech Board MA (MA-AMT): Required</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <p>Essential Functions:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Sets up exam rooms and checks in patients.
