All of our technicians are D.O.T. and brake certified and are capable of performing a great number of repairs and services.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform diagnostics, repairs, and inspections on Class 6–8 power units and trailers, including engines, electrical systems, brakes, A/C systems, exhaust and after-treatment systems, lift-gates, tires, and more.</li>\n <li>Execute a 50/50 mix of power unit and trailer repair work across a regional customer base.</li>\n <li>Schedule and perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections in compliance with federal regulations.</li>\n <li>Open and close repair orders on a company-issued device with accuracy and timeliness.</li>\n <li>Source parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.</li>\n <li>Complete DOT forms and all required documentation accurately and on time.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 5 years of hands-on diesel and trailer repair experience.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated power unit diagnostic skills — this is a must.</li>\n <li>5+ years performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.</li>\n <li>Valid Driver's License required.</li>\n <li>Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.</li>\n <li>Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.</li>\n <li>Proficiency using a computer or tablet for electronic work order processing, including labor entry and status updates.</li>\n <li>Must supply own tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>WHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Reefer/refrigerated trailer experience — strong plus.</li>\n <li>ASE or manufacturer certifications.</li>\n <li>Welding experience.</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Ability to perform all physical requirements of the role with or without reasonable accommodation — work is performed outdoors and may involve extreme heat, cold, and humidity.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong>WHAT WE OFFER YOU</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>First and second shifts available</li>\n <li>Health, Dental and Vision Plans</li>\n <li>FSA and HSA options</li>\n <li>Various life insurance options</li>\n <li>Supplemental insurance plans</li>\n <li>401K with company match</li>\n <li>Paid time off</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Salary information: $32 - $36/hr. – pay is commensurate with experience </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Prestige Fleet Services </strong>is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer, and is committed to providing employment opportunities to all qualified applicants without regard to race, sex, age, color, national origin, ethnicity, creed, religion, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity and expression, marital status, pregnancy, or veteran status.</p>",
