This position focuses on improving production efficiency, ensuring product and process quality, supporting new and existing product development, and managing the full product life cycle. The engineer collaborates closely with cross‑functional teams to drive product manufacturing excellence, ensure compliance with industry standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\"><strong>Process Design &amp; Improvement</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop, document, and optimize manufacturing processes for QED built products.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify improvement opportunities using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Define process parameters, controls, and tooling to ensure consistent production performance.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective action implementation for process issues.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\"><strong>Product Development &amp; Support</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide design, detail and drafting support to Mechanical, Systems, and Research engineering.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with cross-discipline product development teams, and Operations to transition new products into production.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including developing and updating drawings, entering BOM and part maintenance information into the ERP system and coordinate change implementation with internal and external manufacturing teams.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support prototype builds, design-for-manufacturability (DFM) reviews, and engineering change activities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide technical guidance to production teams on product specifications and assembly methods.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify and manage suppliers for sourcing new components and sub-assemblies.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\"><strong>Quality Control &amp;
