    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manufacturing and Engineering\n  <ul>\n   <li>Continuous improvement activities for manufacturing, working with all departments out of the Houston operation</li>\n   <li>Strong aptitude and creativity in mechanical and equipment design. Ability to take a concept and turn it into a functional mechanical asset</li>\n   <li>Design and support manufacturing equipment to ensure reliability and production efficiency</li>\n   <li>Participate in the proto-type and production launch of new products from a manufacturing perspective</li>\n   <li>Review current manufacturing processes, equipment, and capabilities to determine process capabilities and resources required to run proto-types</li>\n   <li>Manage and support the DSC test equipment</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Engineering Documentation\n  <ul>\n   <li>Design, draft and document new and existing equipment, products and processes</li>\n   <li>Revise and control prints and bills of materials</li>\n   <li>Submit bills of materials for review</li>\n   <li>Generate quotes for new product design</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Budget and Capital Project Oversight\n  <ul>\n   <li>Review and coordinate capital project requests for departments in the US and Canadian offices</li>\n   <li>Track capital spending</li>\n   <li>Track and report capital spending relative to the operations budget quarterly</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Facilities Support\n  <ul>\n   <li>Oversite of installation and leasehold improvements for all manufacturing operations</li>\n   <li>Document and layout manufacturing, yard operations, and offices for US and Canadian locations</li>\n   <li>Work with Maintenance manager and department for the upkeep of facilities and manufacturing equipment</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Field Service and Deployment Center Support\n  <ul>\n   <li>Tasked with resolving operating and service issues regarding field service equipment</li>\n   <li>Design and document new field service equipment for product handling and installation</li>\n   <li>Document, create, update, and maintain improvements and upgrades to equipment</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>Minimum three years with hands on mechanical design.</p>\n<p>Experience in a manufacturing and production environment with equipment is a plus.</p>\n<p>Possess strong design for mechanical systems, equipment, and design solutions from concept to fabrication using basic engineering fundamentals.</p>\n<p>Self-motivated and resilient in a multitasked working environment.</p>\n<p>Ability to work through roadblocks and solve practical problems through simplicity.</p>\n<p>Possess technical aptitude and ability to understand engineering, design and product performance issues.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Familiar with industrial processes, particularly onshore and offshore oilfield production processes a plus.</p>\n<p>Adequate verbal, written and analytical skills with a professional and helpful demeanor.</p>\n<p>Computer literacy using the Microsoft Office Suite, Autodesk Inventor or comparable 3D modeling software.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require local travel.
