The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and a foundational understanding of high-voltage construction operations. This is a full-time, site-based role performed in rotational shifts, requiring strong engagement with field leadership, project management processes, and a genuine commitment to safety. The Field Engineer serves as a technical resource on site and as the direct link between construction crews and the broader engineering team.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<p>The Field Engineer will:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Champion site safety by participating in daily pre-task planning, toolbox talks, and Energized Electrical Work Permit (EEWP) compliance; immediately escalate observed hazards to field leadership.</li>\n <li>Work on site full time in rotational shifts to support continuous construction operations across all project phases.</li>\n <li>Act as a technical liaison on site, offering guidance to project leadership, construction crews, and subcontractors under direction of the Lead Field Engineer.</li>\n <li>Ensure project adherence to engineering and design specifications, industry standards, and construction regulations.</li>\n <li>Support the resolution of construction issues, deviations from plans, and unforeseen challenges; escalate to Lead Field Engineer as needed.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with home office engineering teams for issue resolution when required.</li>\n <li>Review and process submittals, RFIs, and field documentation using Procore or equivalent project management software.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate field markups, daily reports, and project documentation.</li>\n <li>Support pre-energization checklists and commissioning walkthroughs under direction of the Lead Field Engineer.</li>\n <li>Support plan review and approval processes with local and state authorities, as required.</li>\n <li>Report status of open technical issues to Lead Field Engineer.</li>\n <li>Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 2 years of relevant field experience in the construction of high-voltage electrical infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Basic working knowledge of transmission, substation, or civil engineering design principles, construction drawings, and QC processes.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with and interpret engineering documents, specifications, and project deliverables in a field construction environment.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to collaborate with project teams, clients, and regulatory entities.</li>\n <li>OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred.</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license required.</li>\n <li>Willingness to work rotational shifts and extended schedules in a field environment.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; exposure to or willingness to learn Procore or similar project management software.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills.</li>\n <li>EIT (Engineer in Training) designation a plus, not required.</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer (P.E.) license not required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Travel Requirements: </u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>\n    <ul>\n     <li>Role will require travel as necessary to achieve job responsibilities, up to 100% of the time.</li>\n    </ul></li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Get</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive salary and bonus structure.</li>\n <li>Comprehensive health and retirement benefits.</li>\n <li>Per diem and travel support for site-based assignments.</li>\n <li>Professional development opportunities and pathways toward senior leadership roles.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>\n<p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
