As a mid-level manager, this role focuses on managing engineering projects and ensuring alignment with business objectives, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior managers and engineers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This role will be onsite in Athens, GA. Relocation Assistance is available.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and manage engineering teams, ensuring the design and development of transformers or related components meet quality, cost, and schedule requirements.</li>\n <li>Oversee project execution, from concept through to production, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer specifications.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration of designs into production.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, CSA) and regulatory requirements throughout the product development process.</li>\n <li>Mentor and develop junior managers and senior engineers, providing technical guidance and career development opportunities.</li>\n <li>Monitor and manage team performance, ensuring that engineering KPIs align with business objectives and drive continuous improvement.</li>\n <li>Manage project resources and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within allocated resources.</li>\n <li>Drive problem-solving and risk management activities, addressing project challenges and mitigating risks to ensure successful outcomes.</li>\n <li>Promote a culture of safety and adherence to best practices within the engineering teams.</li>\n <li>Stay current with industry advancements, applying insights to drive innovation and improve product performance and reliability.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Engineering or an MBA is preferred.</li>\n <li>More than 8 years of experience in engineering, with significant experience managing engineering teams and projects.</li>\n <li>Proven ability to manage engineering teams and lead projects from concept to production.</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and modern manufacturing processes.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to deliver multiple projects and priorities.</li>\n <li>Effective communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.</li>\n <li>Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in risk management and issue resolution.</li>\n <li>Experience managing budgets and project resources to meet objectives.</li>\n <li>High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to continuous improvement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Join ERMCO and TRANSFORM your career!</strong></p>\n<h2>Job Locations</h2>US-GA-Athens",
