This position offers flexibility in the candidate&rsquo;s location, and we offer a hybrid work schedule. Our corporate headquarters is in Williamsville, NY. This position is open in our Buffalo, Williamsville, Syracuse, Albany, and Rochester NY offices.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as Lead Engineer for medium to large scale design and construction project efforts including distribution and collection system improvements as well as water and wastewater treatment plant rehabilitation work.</li><li>Support project management staff with inter/intradisciplinary coordination to meet project timeline and budget compliance.</li><li>Mentor junior engineering and technical staff.</li><li>Join client meetings and business development events (as needed) to help sustain and grow client relationships.</li><li>Prepare technical &amp; design documentation including:<ul><li>Reports, Technical Specifications, Regulatory Documentation.</li><li>Hydraulic modeling of distribution, storage, and collection systems.</li><li>Process Modeling of Treatment Systems.</li></ul></li></ul><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering or related fields is required.</li><li>Candidate should have their EIT but PE is preferred, experience and background will be considered in place of licensing.</li><li>The ideal candidate has 6 - 14 years of experience in the water or wastewater discipline, however individuals seeking to leverage a broad portfolio of experience who are interested in becoming focused within the Water market will also be considered.</li><li>Experience with hydraulics, municipal water and wastewater treatment plant design, process instrumentation and controls.</li><li>Working experience with CAD and REVIT (BIM) software is preferred.</li><li>Strong management and leadership skills.</li><li>Willing to work outdoors in various weather at times.</li><li>Candidate must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and be available to travel to job sites and client meetings.
