          "text": "<p><br /></p><p>Role: Netapp Specialist</p><p>Location: Rochester, NY</p><p>Duration: Fulltime</p><p>BGV will be done for the selected candidates.</p><p>Job Description –</p><p>Roles &amp; Responsibilities:</p><p>To support Production Storage Environment of an enterprise Managing storage in PB size</p><p>Handling Data Centre Operations with Business &amp; Mission Critical applications</p><p>Handling escalated incidents or high critical tickets</p><p>Predicting Risk/Impact and Participating in Major Changes</p><p>Reporting &amp; Performance Dashboards with Capacity Planning</p><p>Vendor Management &amp; Tape Management is also must</p><p>Technical Transition &amp; Documentation skills (Onsite to Offshore)</p><p>Design, Migration and upgradation of existing infrastructure</p><p>Technical Skills</p><p>Understanding the Architecture and design of SAN/NAS infrastructure</p><p>Plan and upgrade Storage array ONTAP/Firmware updates</p><p>Netapp Management(CIFS,NFS,ISCSI,FC,De-dup,Reallocation,Compression,Volume,qtree, aggregate, Autosupport)</p><p>Create, configure and Manage Vfilers</p><p>Planning of new SAN/NAS component installation</p><p>Plan, Implement and support DR solutions and configuration</p><p>Plan and Implement Storage Migration</p><p>Experience in Performance analysis and tuning</p><p>Capacity Planning of Storage env</p><p>Provide Hardware diagnostics, break-fix support</p><p>Backup Management(Backup Manager, Protection Manager, Snapvault, Snapmirror, Disaster recovery )</p><p>SnapCreator, Snapdrive, Snapmanager</p><p>Plan and Implement Storage Migration</p><p>Should be well versed in Storage Virtualization concepts, SRM</p><p>Mentor new team members</p><p>SLA Management</p><p>Single point of contact for the respective technology tower</p><p>Drives day to day operations and work plan allocation/management</p><p>Nice to have: Experience in Backup tools and SAN products</p><p>Working knowledge in UNIX administration or Windows administration</p><p>Deployment management</p><p>Process &amp; Tools</p><p>Remote system administration</p><p>Expertise in automation and reduction of manual efforts through Scripting/tools</p><p>Service now Incident, Change &amp; Problem management</p><p>Configuration management</p><p>Capacity Planning</p>",
