Interact with donors to answer questions and solve problems. Provide a friendly, service-oriented environment.</li><li data-gid=\"10210\">Pick-up furniture donations as scheduled by Chief Development Officer.</li><li data-gid=\"10211\">Responsible for planning route and preparing maps for pick-ups to ensure timely, accurate and efficient pick-ups.</li><li data-gid=\"10212\">Responsible for loading and unloading donated furniture and miscellaneous items on truck, taking care not to damage donor&rsquo;s property, the donated goods, and Turning Point&rsquo;s property</li><li data-gid=\"10213\">Responsible for maintaining adequate fuel supply and the cleanliness of the inside and outside of the truck.</li><li data-gid=\"10214\">Responsible Turning Point&rsquo;s safety procedures and utilizing the proper safety equipment as required.</li><li data-gid=\"10215\">Responsible for the secure and safe operation of Turning Point&rsquo;s truck and equipment.</li><li data-gid=\"10216\">Report any problems with the vehicle immediately.</li><li data-gid=\"10217\">Prior to pick-up, prepare furniture department for new items. Rearrange and/or rotate furniture and merchandise as required to ensure optimal traffic flow, display and safety</li><li data-gid=\"10218\">Assist with the removal of purchased furniture and the disposal of unwanted items</li><li data-gid=\"10219\">Be aware of and adhere to Turning Point&rsquo;s policies with regard to staff purchases.</li><li data-gid=\"10220\">Keep Chief Development Officer informed of all potential problems, incidents and donor concerns/comments.</li><li data-gid=\"10221\">Participate in applicable staff, committee meetings, and other meetings deemed necessary by Turning Point.</li><li data-gid=\"10222\">Conduct relationships with Turning Point and agency staff and volunteers to promote mutual respect and a positive and productive work environment.</li><li data-gid=\"10223\">Notify the Director of any emergency situations that may affect Turning Point staff and clients.</li><li data-gid=\"10224\">Perform all other duties as assigned by the Chief Development Officer.</li></ul><p data-gid=\"10228\"><strong data-gid=\"10229\"><u data-gid=\"10230\">Qualifications:</u></strong></p><ul data-gid=\"10231\"><li data-gid=\"10232\">High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience</li><li data-gid=\"10233\">Excellent customer relations skills</li><li data-gid=\"10234\">Knowledge of shipping and receiving practices</li><li data-gid=\"10235\">Forklift experience a plus</li><li data-gid=\"10236\">Excellent driving record</li><li data-gid=\"10237\">Understanding of vehicle care and maintenance</li><li data-gid=\"10238\">Ability to work independently and as a team member</li><li data-gid=\"10239\">DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain a valid DOT Medical Card.</li></ul><p data-gid=\"10240\">&nbsp;</p><p data-gid=\"10241\"><strong data-gid=\"10242\"><u data-gid=\"10243\">Working Conditions:</u></strong></p><p data-gid=\"10244\">1.
