Overview Parking Attendants (Non-Driving) Seasonal April - November Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour Job Type: Part-time - Seasonal Location: Marine Park in Boston, MA Shift & Schedule: Flexible - Weekday Evenings, Weekends: April - November Must Have: Prior customer service experience Application Question(s): Applications will be accepted until job is closed. Propark Mobility is currently hiring Parking Attendants for part-time seasonal opportunities to start immediately. What we're looking for:* Direct patrons where to park. Issue tickets to customers, recording the required information on each ticket. Process exception transactions (e.g., lost tickets, grace period tickets, etc.) according to company policy, including completing the applicable form. Complete the daily shift paperwork by recording the number of transactions by parking rate, number of vehicles in and out of the facility, number of contract parkers, vehicles left in the facility, number of validated tickets and exception tickets. Provide the company’s standards of service with each customer including maintaining the required uniform appearance, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issues and thanking each customer upon exit. May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the company’s maintenance checklists. Other special projects as assigned by location management. Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and the parking customer. Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner. Available Mornings, Evenings, Overnight Good to haves: Customer service: 1 year+ Physical Demands and Working Conditions The physical demands of this position and the work environment characteristics described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential job functions. Physical Demands: the employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands-to-fingers, handle toolsor controls, reach with hands or arms, talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move objectsup to 25lbs. Work Environment: the employee may be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time. Theemployee is regularly exposed to fumes and airborne particles. The noise level in this work environmentcan range from minimal to moderate. *This list is not all-inclusive.
