As part of a team recognized for its expertise, you will participate in the structural design of institutional, residential<u>,</u> and commercial projects. You will bring your technical knowledge and your professional experience to <u>develop a</u><u>nd </u>provide innovative solutions for our clients’ projects. In addition, you will contribute to CIMA+’s outreach, mainly in the Saint John Regional Municipality.</p><p>You will work in a dynamic environment, as part of a team of engineers, technicians and drafters, on challenging projects. You will evolve within a passionate team in a context where initiative and trust are strongly encouraged.</p><p><strong>Primary responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Participate in the design of structural elements for various steel, concrete, or wood structures.</li><li>Perform calculations using specialized software for new constructions, carry out expert assessments and supervise asset maintenance work on existing buildings.</li><li>Find and recommend solutions to technical problems and issues.</li><li>Project planning including design schedule, and proposed construction schedules.</li><li>Prepare technical reports, specifications, and construction cost estimates.</li><li>Follow up on each step of a project (field surveys and inspections, technical reports, plans and specifications, work supervision).</li><li>Provide technical support to clients and ensure proper coordination with the various stakeholders (architects, engineers, contractors) throughout the project.</li><li>Liaise directly with clients and maintain business relationships.</li><li>Prepare proposal submissions including pricing, agreements, and/or response to RFPs.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<ul><li>University degree in civil engineering or an equivalent.</li><li>Hold a P. Eng. title from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick (APEGNB).</li><li>A minimum of five (5<u>)</u> years of relevant experience in building structures at conception level and in inspection on construction sites.</li><li>Proficiency with ETABS, ADA and SAFE software.</li><li>Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software.</li><li>Ability to work on different projects simultaneously.</li><li>Fluency in oral and written English is a must (French is considered an asset).</li><li>Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle</li><li>Integrity, team spirit, and a commitment to excellence.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p>At CIMA+, we value diversity of talent and perspective.
