Position Overview Cole Engineering Services (CESI) is seeking a motivated and talented Software Engineer Intern to join our dynamic and innovative engineering team. This is an opportunity to grow your skills in a collaborative environment and make meaningful contributions to mission-critical applications. Responsibilities Collaborate with experienced engineers in an Agile development environment. Work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions. Build a portfolio of real-world contributions to automation, security, and system reliability. Required Experience/Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Familiarity with the Java Programming Language. Understanding of fundamental computer science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming. Experience with version control systems, such as Git. Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to tackle complex challenges and create innovative solutions. Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Team-Oriented Mindset: A desire to work collaboratively and provide constructive feedback during code reviews and planning. Eagerness to Learn: A passion for software development and a willingness to continuously learn and grow. Attention to Detail: The ability to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are well-structured. Special Requirements/Security Clearance Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status with ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.
