This person will be responsible for concepting and designing a variety of print and digital assets for all K&amp;N brands and product categories.</p><p><strong><u>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for production of various marketing materials, including but not limited to:<ul><li>Art design from start to finish for various print and digital marketing materials such as knfilters.com website content, social media, internet reseller imagery, product packaging, brochures, flyers and P.O.P. pieces.</li></ul></li><li>Take part in the development and revision process of all Company packaging across multiple product lines and box types and sizes.</li><li>Work with brand managers, copywriters, social media team, R&amp;D, sales and other graphic artists to collaboratively accomplish all design goals.</li><li>Create physical and digital samples of packaging concepts for internal and external presentations.</li><li>Manage all processes related to pre-press production such as checking files for digital problems, color corrections, color specifications of PMS spots, images and text flowing and font setups.</li><li>Create and maintain a complete library of electronic copies of all projects produced.</li><li>Color correct, create clipping paths and export photographic elements for use on all print and digital collateral.</li><li>Assistance with proofing and reviewing proofs from press.</li><li>Extensive inter- and intra- departmental interaction is expected.</li><li>Ensure visual consistency of packaging and creative assets via use of style guides and enforcement of established standards and best practices.</li><li>Consistently look for ways to increase customer impact while reducing costs in packaging materials and printing expenses.</li><li>Handle special projects when requested.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Experience, Skills &amp; Education:</u></strong></p><ul><li>5+ years&rsquo; experience in a similar role.</li><li>Extensive hands-on experience with publishing software including Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign is required.</li><li>Experience with and ability to apply knowledge of printing processes and techniques.</li><li>Ability to apply knowledge of Mac OS systems.</li><li>Knowledge of photography specs and processing of images is required.</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.</li><li>Ability to balance quality and quantity of work.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Additional Qualities Necessary:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Must be very well organized, demonstrate the ability to prioritize and follow through on all tasks and projects with limited supervision.</li><li>Have a strong attention to detail and ability to find and correct design problems.</li><li>Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with K&amp;N personnel and/or vendors in a 1-on-1 or team situation.</li><li>Strong portfolio of work that demonstrates print and digital art creation across a variety of product types and environments.</li><li>Consistently present a positive K&amp;N image.</li></ul>\n    </div>\n  </div>\n",
