    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 36pt\"><br></span>Job Title:  <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Manager, Community Impact and Innovation Section</span></p>\n<p>Reports to:  Executive Director, Community Impact and Innovation Section</p>\n<p>Job Category:  Professional/Technical</p>\n<p>Location:  Headquarters</p>\n<p>Position:  Full time</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Job Description:</span>      </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The Community Impact and Innovation Section Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing programs, partnerships, and initiatives that strengthen community relationships and enhance engagement efforts. This role involves strategic planning, direct supervision, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to create impactful, community-focused solutions. The successful candidate will bring frontline social work experience and expertise, leveraging their knowledge of community dynamics and social services to guide initiatives, support staff, and address complex community challenges.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Roles and Responsibilities </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Research and identify relevant grant opportunities.</li>\n<li>Network with external law enforcement agencies on community TNPS projects, programs, and initiatives.</li>\n<li>Provide oversight, planning, and supervision for units reporting to the Community Impact and Innovation Section (CIIS).</li>\n<li>Liaise with Tsuut’ina Nation community members and organizations to build, maintain, and manage partnerships.</li>\n<li>Assist in the development and establishment of new community partnerships.</li>\n<li>Attend community events and programs alongside all sections and staff to provide support, guidance, and engage with community members.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with other TNPS Sections to enhance engagement in community events.</li>\n<li>Integrate frontline social work knowledge to address sensitive or complex community issues effectively.</li>\n<li>Review and authorize overtime, leave, and expense claims for all sections within CIIS.</li>\n<li>Provide direct supervision and management of grants within the section.</li>\n<li>Ensure alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Service.</li>\n<li>Develop and implement strategies that effectively engage community members and stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with other sections to design and execute community-focused initiatives.</li>\n<li>Conduct evaluations and assessments of programs and initiatives to measure their effectiveness.</li>\n<li>Monitor budget allocations and expenditures for all section projects.</li>\n<li>Offer guidance and support to staff based on frontline social work expertise in community engagement.</li>\n<li>Facilitate communication among departments, units, and agencies involved in community initiatives.</li>\n<li>Stay informed about trends, issues, and best practices in community development, social work, law enforcement, and social services.</li>\n<li>Conduct research on topics relevant to community impact initiatives.</li>\n<li>Represent the department at meetings, conferences, workshops, and events.</li>\n<li>Provide monthly reports for Commission meetings and other reports as requested by the Executive Leadership Team.</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Education and Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Extensive experience in social work, community engagement, and strategic program development.</li>\n<li>Proven expertise in building partnerships, managing budgets, and supervising teams.</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of grant writing, research, and application processes.</li>\n<li>Skilled in addressing complex community issues and fostering collaboration with stakeholders, including law enforcement.</li>\n<li>Proficient in evaluating program effectiveness, preparing executive reports, and supporting community-focused initiatives.</li>\n<li>Extensive supervisory experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Additional Notes</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>An enhanced security clearance will be required for candidates selected for this position.</li>\n<li>Successful candidates will be required to sign an Oath of Confidentiality</li>\n<li>Priority will be given to Community members of Tsuut’ina Nation who meet the qualifications and skills.</li>\n</ul>",
