Allied Universal is seeking dedicated <strong>Firefighter Professionals</strong> to join our emergency response team at a premier <strong>Automotive Manufacturing Facility</strong> in <strong>West Point, GA! </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is <strong>consistent supplemental income</strong> with the flexibility to pick up one or two 12-hour shifts per week. Whether you’re looking for extra cash for the holidays or a steady year-round side hustle, we have the hours available!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Firefighter-EMT (Part-Time) – Automotive Plant</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Location: West Point, GA</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Pay Rate: $22.50- $25.69 per Hour </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Work Shifts: 12-Hour Blocks (7 AM – 7PM or 7 PM – 7 AM) – All workdays available! </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Emergency Response:</strong> Act as the primary responder for fire incidents, industrial accidents, and hazardous material mitigation.</li>\n <li><strong>Medical Support:</strong> Administer Basic Life Support (BLS) and emergency medical care to site employees and guests.</li>\n <li><strong>Safety & Security:</strong> Conduct patrols to detect and report suspicious activity or safety hazards, acting as a visible deterrent to client rule infractions.</li>\n <li><strong>Technical Ops:</strong> Operate fire apparatus pumps, advance hose lines, climb ladders, and perform confined space/rope rescues as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications & Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Certifications:</strong> Must hold <strong>Georgia State Firefighter 1 & 2</strong> (NFPA 1001) and a current <strong>EMT License</strong> (or higher).</li>\n <li><strong>Physical Readiness:</strong> Must pass a physical and Fit Test for SCBA; able to wear gear weighing ~70 lbs and lift/carry up to 80 lbs.</li>\n <li><strong>Additional Training:</strong> Ability to obtain/maintain annual Hazardous Materials Technician and Confined Space/Rope Rescue certifications.</li>\n <li><strong>Basic Requirements:</strong> At least 21 years old, HS Diploma/GED, and a valid Driver’s License with a clean 3-year record.</li>\n <li><strong>Skills:</strong> Strong interpersonal communication, customer service mindset, and intermediate computer skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why Join Allied Universal?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Straightforward Pay:</strong> Earn extra on a schedule that fits your life.</li>\n   <li><strong>Professional Environment:</strong> Work in a high-tech industrial setting with a focus on safety and prevention.</li>\n   <li><strong>Fast Response:</strong> We respect your time. Apply today and hear from us within <strong>48 hours.</strong></li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner</li>\n <li><p>Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.</p></li>\n <li>Health License as Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or higher</li>\n <li>Must have current CPR/AED Certification</li>\n <li>Must pass physical and Fit Test required for Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)</li>\n <li>Must possess state requirements for a firefighter EMT</li>\n <li>As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws</li>\n <li>Display exceptional customer service and communication skills</li>\n <li><p><u>Driving Positions</u>: must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.</p></li>\n <li>Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites</li>\n <li>Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently</li>\n <li>Safely respond to emergency incidents, fight fires, mitigate hazardous material incidents, rescue trapped persons in confined spaces, and administer basic life support (BLS) treatment.</li>\n <li>Able to perform firefighting duties including advancing hose lines, fire apparatus pump operations, safely operate power tools, climb ladders, and wear firefighter protective gear including self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) weighing approximately 70 pounds.</li>\n <li>Able to:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat</li>\n   <li>Occasionally lift or carry up to 80 pounds</li>\n   <li>Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift</li>\n   <li>Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li> </li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Closing</h2>\n<p>Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
