Description

Brand Manager - New York (Hybrid) Marquee Brands is seeking  a knowledgeable, strategic, product-loving Brand Manager to join its New York team. The Brand Manager will support the Brand Director in the management and growth of  the  iconic  Maison BCBG  brands:  BCBGMAXAZRIA, BCBG, BCBG Generation and BCBG Girls. Marquee Brands Marquee owns and manages a portfolio of established global brands across consumer products and channels from luxury goods to sports and active apparel. Marquee’s team of professionals is focused on a commitment to drive organic growth through natural brand extensions, impactful marketing and direct consumer engagement. Our promise is to ensure our brands continue their storied success through relevant product, expanded retail distribution, and international growth all while continuing to be true to their founding message and origin. Duties/ Responsibilities: Business Management: Request & analyze sales, and forecast s  reporting by channel and account and circulate business updates internally, for all retailers and marketplaces In partnership with Director, share successes  and opportunities  across partner portfolio , with Brand Director  identify  opportunities to further drive business and drive results. Assist  with execution of global go to market strategies . Maintain & update store distribution lists ,  active  categor ies  and retailer footprint Track partner performance on Amazon: ad spend, overarching PDP execution .   With  Brand  Director and Marketplace team,  identify  business opportunities and drive results. Procure and enter monthly, quarterly actuals and projections in relevant corporate files Support Director in  chasing licensee payments as needed Lead the  overall business  management of a subset of brand licensees with guidance from Director .   Own agendas, monthly/quarterly  tbases .   Drive  results to see strategies through. Execute market research online and in store to  identify  opportunities and  positioning  within the market .   Prepare presentations  accordingly.. Along with Brand Director, r esearch prospective retail opportunities and prepare pitch decks .   Conduct market research and pitch decks to support Business development Cross Functional Collaboration: Collaborate and liaise with internal teams such as marketing and PR teams on needs to support brand strategy and growth ( ie . line sheets,  order management,  samples, pricing, launch dates , sample ordering ) Maintain merch inputs for the marketing team’s launch calendars Contribute  to weekly /monthly  meetings held with marketing , c reative ,  legal  and business development. Product Development & Merchandising: Build  and  maint ain   the time and action calendar; alerting  appropriate stakeholders  when timelines slip Collaborate with licensees to manage: Product approvals - own meetings, approval  process  and filing Go-To-Market assets such as line lists and line sheets Showroom and sample management and organization. Trademark and Contract Management Provide trademark proof of usage Assist  with various tasks by liaising with the legal team, and own legal team updates Own and  maintain  detailed trackers surrounding partner contracts and terms Compliance Support Royalty Zone Process, from validating partner inputs to generating ad hoc reporting, while tracking all system updates needed (example: informing new retailers for a partner) and keeping records of new approvals Administrative Responsibilities: Schedule and own the agendas for internal bi-monthly and weekly touch bases internally - Marketing, Creative, Legal, Business Development Schedule and own the agendas for  monthly/ quarterly business reviews with licensees Schedule and own the agendas for partner  Design  meetings Required Skills/Abilities: Must be in advanced in Microsoft excel and the entire Microsoft Suite, Adobe  Suite  and Canva Excellent verbal and written communication skills Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree 3+ years of experience in retail merchandising and/or licensing Marquee Brands Benefits and Perks You'll enjoy coming to work because we have a refreshing company culture that is open, entrepreneurial and fun.
