Arcadis serves many clients and project types in many market sectors. We combine technical expertise, a passion to serve, and a willingness to be adaptable in every project to serve water, industrial, and environmental clients nationwide.</p>\n<p>This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated design engineer to join our team locally. The Civil/ Process Mechanical<strong>&nbsp;</strong>Engineer will use their experience and knowledge of water/wastewater/recycled water projects, design and construction engineering, and client service to successfully execute projects within the local municipal water/ wastewater market.&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Role accountabilities:</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Use Arcadis standards and specifications for water/wastewater design and construction projects. Design and construction support for water/wastewater treatment plants, storm water systems, distribution/collection systems, and pump/lift stations. &nbsp; Additional duties include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist in creation of construction documents and specifications and interact with and oversee the work of CAD staff.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Meet established budgets and delivery schedules for each assignment; for project/task scope, schedule, and budget.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Engage with clients to support needs and provide solutions.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Coordinate execution of projects with other engineering disciplines and office personnel.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Develop design projects from inception to completion, prepare construction packages (including all deliverables) for the engineering, procurement, and construction of water/wastewater systems for clients.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Create cost estimates and project schedules and perform detailed engineering calculations and analysis and use design software to solve complex challenges.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong>:&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field of study.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Minimum of 4 years of experience in water/wastewater/recycled water facilities design and construction support.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Key Skills and Attributes</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong, clear, and concise written and oral communication skills and excellent technical writing skills. Client relationship skills are a plus. Functional experience with MS Office applications.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience preparing and reviewing project drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong>:&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current PE License in Ohio, or ability to obtain within one year of hire.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Task Lead, Task Manager, or Design Lead experience on water/wastewater projects of various sizes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Why Arcadis?</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
