Support hardware obsolescence investigations and component substitution analyses, documenting findings in engineering assessments and technical reports.
Assist senior engineers in applying MIL-STD environmental testing requirements (vibration, shock, temperature, humidity) to hardware design and modification packages.
Review vendor and subcontractor hardware documentation to verify compliance with program specifications and applicable military standards.
Contribute to Integrated Product Team (IPT) activities and technical interchange meetings (TIMs) by preparing engineering analysis summaries and supporting materials.
Maintain accurate engineering records, drawing logs, and configuration documentation in accordance with program configuration management standards.
Collaborate with logistics, field service, and test personnel to ensure mechanical designs and modifications are supportable in operational environments.
