Processes physician orders for infant feedings, and records all Milk Bank Nutrition center activities accordingly.</p>\n<p>Job Responsibility</p>\n<p></p>\n<ul>\n <li>* Receives and processes human milk and related supplies and equipment according to established policies and procedures. \n  <ul>\n   <li>Confirms quantity and inspects items to ensure adherence to quality and infection control guidelines.Reports any damage, spoilage or discrepancies to supervisor.</li>\n   <li>Labels, dates and stores items in appropriate refrigerators, freezers, or dry storage areas according to established policies and procedures.</li>\n   <li>Rotates inventory and maintains proper storage temperatures and timeframes.Discards expired items, as required.</li>\n   <li>Monitors and maintains milk nutrition inventory par levels.Keeps supervisor informed of par levels and supply needs.</li>\n   <li>Maintains cleanliness of milk nutrition refrigerators, freezers, dry storage areas and related supplies and equipment.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>* Receives and processes physician orders for infant feedings. \n  <ul>\n   <li>Identifies, calculates, measures and prepares milk following to established policies, procedures, and sanitation guidelines.</li>\n   <li>Adds fortifiers, liquid protein, and/or other nutritional additives to milk, as directed by physician orders.</li>\n   <li>Refers to appropriate clinical team members for clarification, as needed.</li>\n   <li>Delivers prepared milk to appropriate units for scheduled infant feedings.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>* Enters all milk nutrition activities in department computer system and completes related paperwork.</li>\n <li>Performs related duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>*ADA Essential Functions</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Job Qualification</p>\n<p></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent, required.</li>\n <li>Successful completion of hospital training program within normal probationary period, required.</li>\n <li>Minimum of one (1) year related food service or inventory experience in a healthcare setting, required.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated competency in basic mathematics and inventory flow, required.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions verbally and in writing. \n  <ul>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<br><b>*Additional Salary Detail</b>\n<br>\n The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).",
