Apply now and energize your career with a true leader in the global energy transformation.</p><p></p><p>This is a regular full-time management position in which the candidate will be reporting directly to the AES team lead for the wind facility.  The ideal candidate must have strong leadership ability<span>, including the ability to develop, educate, and ensure the </span>safety of others. The position requires excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The position will require a willingness to work extra and/or irregular work hours and/or shift schedules as needed.</p><p></p><p>This position will support maintenance and site strategy by managing, tracking, and reporting site maintenance, work schedules, turbine and field repairs, and other work as required. Will be responsible for project capability, process efficiency, cost efficiency, project availability, quality standards, and any contractual obligations of the project or work area. Will analyze project performance and make recommendations to improve reliability, efficiency<span>, and, </span>ultimately, the project&#39;s financial performance. This position will be responsible for site safety, environmental training, and their respective programs.</p><p></p><p>This role commutes to the wind farm at West Camp Wind, Arizona, each week. The closest towns are Heber or Holbrook, AZ. You are expected to work on-site five days per week, 7 am – 3 pm, including emergency on-call. The work hours may vary if travel to a different location is needed.</p><p>A company vehicle and AES credit card will be provided.</p><p>As part of the driving requirements for this position, you must have a valid driver&#39;s license within the USA and be able to pass a background check.</p><p></p><p>Candidates must have advanced technical education or training with a minimum of five (5) years experience in plant maintenance, operations, or any other technical field or a high school diploma with a minimum of 5-8 years experience in maintenance/operations. The ideal candidate should have experience with wind turbines and systems, or other is acceptable.</p><p></p><p><u><b>Principal Duties and <span>Responsibilities:</span></b></u></p><p></p><p>Perform (or cause to be performed) site maintenance, including without <span>limitation:</span></p><ul><li>Be responsible for all operating activities; understand and ensure compliance with Vestas Full-Service <span>agreement.</span></li><li>Plan and manage contractor work BOP and turbine <span>repair</span></li><li>Road maintenance and snow removal, inspect project <span>roads.</span></li><li>Substation and O&amp;M yard, clean debris, and adequate snow removal to permit access and <span>work.</span></li><li>Check after contractor WTG access for gate closures to avoid livestock <span>issues.</span></li><li>Manage O&amp;M building janitorial tasks, including trash removal and <span>cleanliness.</span></li><li>Engage/monitor workers employed at<span> the </span>site for seasonal tasks. Manage workload. Develop<span> a </span>list of appropriate tasks to be addressed by temporary labor.</li><li>Attend daily POD meetings and monitor OEM work on <span>site.</span></li></ul><p></p><p>Inspections (regular basis) including but not limited <span>to:</span></p><ul><li>Substations month <span>inspections and corrective work </span></li><li>Inspect WTG locations after OEM work to ensure no extension of limits of disturbance (vehicles stay on <span>roads).</span></li><li>Gates, locks, and <span>signage.</span></li><li>WTG gravel rings and access roads for deterioration and drainage <span>issues.</span></li><li><span>Junction</span> box, locks, and<span> arc flash </span><span>stickers.</span></li><li>SPCC monthly/quarterly checks of crane pads, access roads, gravel rings<span>, ladder foundations, </span>and anchor bolt <span>covers.</span></li><li>Weed control (WTG gravel rings, substation, O&amp;M building, emergency <span>shelter).</span></li><li><span>Annual</span> <span>T-line</span> <span>vegetation</span> <span>inspection</span> <span>(photos/progress</span> <span>email/reports).</span></li><li>Exercise care, custody, and control of AES Clean Energy equipment and <span>facilities.</span></li></ul><h1></h1><p><u><b>Desired Skills, Expertise, and <span>Competencies:</span></b></u></p><ul><li>5 years’ Experience in Plant maintenance, operations, or other related technical fields.
