The MA maintains an enhanced role within this model of care that promotes concepts of proactive team-based care,&nbsp;</span><span style=\"color: black;font-size: 14px;font-family: Arial;\">population management and principles of PCMH to develop a highly functional primary care workforce to provide higher quality care to a larger population.</span> &nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ol data-pasted=\"true\"><li>High School Diploma or equivalent education required</li><li>Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or greater required. If greater (LPN or BSN), completion of program must occur within 3 years of applying for MA position</li><li>Current CMA or RMA certification or greater required</li><li>Current BLS/BCLS certification required. Needs to be approved following AHA guidelines.
