    "description_html": "<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>SUMMARY</strong></p><p>Drives Class A, single axle or tandem axle day cab with capacity of 45,000 lbs., delivering materials to and from customer shops and job sites performing the following duties.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES </strong>(Other duties may be assigned)</p><ul><li>Drives truck to destination providing accurate, timely and courteous service.</li><li>Collects signature for goods delivered.</li><li>Collects payment for goods delivered if required following proper procedures with COD/cash deliveries.</li><li>Maintains driver logbook or ELD device, trip reports, fuel tickets, toll tickets, vehicle condition reports to comply with state and federal regulations.</li><li>Operates truck following all safety policies, laws, maintains safe driving record, and notifies supervisor of any violations.</li><li>Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. &nbsp;</li><li>Conducts pre-trip inspections per regulations/policy.</li><li>Operates slide side curtain trailers.</li><li>Secures load using runners, boards, ratchet straps, chains, binders around items to secure cargo during transit.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensures proper load stability and balance.</li><li>Assists in loading of trucks as needed.</li><li>Recommends optimal delivery route to assure quick delivery and timely service to customers.</li><li>Observes all company safety practices and procedure.</li><li>Presents professional images in appearance and behavior with customers, vendors, and co-workers.</li><li>Accurately verifies items and quantities during delivery.</li><li>Reports and documents all delivery variances.</li><li>May sometimes be asked to assist with standard warehouse duties as needed which include receiving, verifying and checking delivered material, restocking, picking orders, palletizing orders, staging orders, loading trucks, unloading trucks, operating sit down and standup forklifts, WMS RF scanning device and normal housekeeping duties.</li><li>Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.</li><li>Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.&nbsp;</li><li>Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.</li><li>Palletizes materials on to pallets and shrink wraps or bands material securely on pallet.</li><li>Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, cleans work area, machines, and equipment.</li><li>Operates sit down forklifts, standup electric lifts, moffets, pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, to assist in loading or moving materials and products; moves levers and presses peals to drive lift and control movement of lifting apparatus.</li><li>Ensures products are handled in accordance to established standards.</li><li>Loads, unloads, straightens, and organizes product and warehouse.</li><li>Controls and accounts for materials to minimize loss and damage.</li><li>Responsible for staging, transporting, shipping, or returning products into and out of the warehouse.</li><li>Some data entry computer work required.</li><li>Utilizes state of the art WMS radio frequency bar code scanning technology software and hardware.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILIES</strong></p><p>None required.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE</strong></p><p>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); twelve months CDL driving experience required.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>CERTIFICATION, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</strong></p><p>Must have current driver’s license, as well as be D.O.T. certified with CDL license, Class A. Hazardous Materials Endorsement preferred.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Put safety first.</li><li>Effective communication skills.</li><li>Ability to think quickly.</li><li>Alert and aware of surroundings.</li><li>Ability to be patience in stressful situations.</li><li>Ability to read and analyze Information.</li><li>Adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously.</li><li>Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines.</li><li>Excellent time management.</li><li>Process improvement mindset.</li><li>Basic mathematical skills. Experience with WMS is preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></p><p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee frequently is required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and use sense of smell. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must be able to routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 75 pounds. Must be able to repetitively mount and dismount various classes of vehicles, including tractor-trailer, as well as forklifts, multiple times per day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT</strong></p><p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions and vibration. Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to a warehouse space that is not climate controlled. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.</p>",
