    "description": "<p><span>Dubak Electrical Group is growing and in search of an experienced </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Traveling Industrial Electrical Foreman.   This role will be responsible for the on-site management of assigned construction projects and field personnel to ensure the scheduled completion of the project within the established budget, time and quality standards while following standard operating procedures.  The Foreman will lead a team of up to three (3) apprentices, and or a group of up to ten (10) Journeyman Electricians to plan layout, install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment and maximize productivity. </span></p>\n<p><span>  </span></p>\n<p><span>Internal Reporting: Reports to the General Foreman, Superintendent,  and Operations Manager.  </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>External Reporting:  Effectively interacts with owners, clients, architects, engineers, trade contractors, vendors, and others who are associated with project related activities. Depending on the foreman's level of experience, they may have 1-13 direct reports.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The ideal candidate will have worked in an industrial environment and have experience with the primary job duties listed in this description.  The primary job expectations will include but not be limited to:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Helps to establish performance goals and reviews project documents, plans, and specifications in order to effectively direct construction activities.  Apply effective and quality electrical  techniques to maximize performance. </span></li>\n<li><span>Resolves conflicts related to construction of the project as well as personnel concerns.  Promote a positive team work environment.</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintains safe work practices in accordance to OSHA, Dubak Electrical, and Client Site Specific Safety Standards.  Conducts a Daily Safety Huddle. Assure the Safety of ALL Dubak Electrical Employees on the project.  Demonstrates proper use and safe handling of tools, equipment, and materials.  Avoids unsightly, hazardous and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.</span><br></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Understand and coordinate installation methods of civil, mechanical, and electrical works, as to prevent physical interference of the final installed product between the three installation types.  Provides technical assistance to colleagues or co-workers (i.e., interpretation of drawings) and recommends construction methods, routing, equipment, as challenges present themselves, and as required</span></li>\n<li><span>Works well under pressure.   Ability to plan, schedule, and organize tasks in an efficient manner in order to meet deadlines. Directs and trains helpers and apprentices in proper work practices in order to meet production requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to determine project scopes by reading and reviewing drawings.  Reads and understands labels, job site maps/directions, instruction manuals, and written instructions accurately.</span></li>\n<li><span>Excellent oral and written communication skills.  Coordinates field installations and project close-outs, as well as develops and maintains customer/client relationships.  Understands Dubak Supervision, and customer’s needs through communication to provide confidence in scope and execution abilities. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Primary Skill Expectations:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Manage a team of electrical journeyman and apprentices on assigned projects  </span></li>\n<li><span>Oversees or participates in wire installation with conduit and cable trays</span></li>\n<li><span>Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit, using such tools as hacksaw, pipe threader, and conduit bender.</span></li>\n<li><span>Able to accurately bend and install all types of conduit.  Understands use of degrees in bending conduit (i.e. concentric bending)</span><br></li>\n<li>Installs control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays and circuit-breaker panels, fastening in place with screws or bolts, using hand tools and power tools</li>\n<li>Connects power cables to equipment, such as electric apparatus or motor, and installs grounding leads</li>\n<li>Demonstrates knowledge of proper circuit grounding practices, transformer connections, over-current protection, parallel circuits, fuse/circuit breakers, motors, cable trays and their supports</li>\n<li>Splices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads with knife or pliers, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps</li>\n<li>Test continuity of circuit to insure electrical compatibility and safety of components, using testing instruments, such as digital multi-meter, circuit tracing, toner, etc</li>\n<li><span>Performs work at various heights, up to 90'; from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, roofs, or other safe work areas</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Requirements:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Manage a craft labor team effectively and ensure a good team working environment</span></li>\n<li><span>Lead by example</span></li>\n<li><span>Establish and maintain positive relationships with the client</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed</span></li>\n<li><span>Have a high regard and ownership for personal safety and the safety of others</span></li>\n<li><span>Perform tasks wearing required PPE such as protective clothing, safety glasses/goggles, steel-toed boots, etc.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Willing to travel to client projects throughout the United States on a regular basis</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Must be bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Industrial Electrical Foreman: 3 years (Preferred)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>High school or equivalent (Preferred)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul></ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Competitive Wages, including Per Diems</span></li>\n<li><span>Insurance (Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, among many other voluntary benefit options)</span></li>\n<li><span>Paid Holidays</span></li>\n<li><span>Paid Time Off</span></li>\n<li><span>401k and Profit Sharing</span></li>\n<li><span>Training Reimbursement Program</span></li>\n<li><span>Positive Work/Life Balance</span></li>\n<li><span>Opportunity for Advancement</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Dubak Electrical Group, LLC  and its affiliates is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
