    "description": "<h2>Position Description</h2>\n<p><strong>At a Glance</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Legrand </strong>has an exciting opportunity for a <strong>CNC Programmer </strong>to join the <strong>Electrical Wiring Systems Power Bus Way Team</strong> in <strong>Mississauga, ON.</strong> The CNC Programmer will be responsible for providing support to engineering and fabrication departments with their technical expertise.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What Will You Do?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Programming a variety of machines including, but not limited to Amada Turret punches.</li>\n <li>Interpret mechanical design drawings and specifications.</li>\n <li>Apply machine tooling selections to manufacture parts most cost-effectively.</li>\n <li>Design and request procurement of tools as necessary.</li>\n <li>Prepare detailed standardized work instructions and set-up sheets.</li>\n <li>Utilize software and experience to continuously improve the run time and programming time.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years working with programming in a metal fabrication environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Strong computer and metal manufacturing skills.</li>\n <li>Able to demonstrate good manufacturing practices and implement appropriate tooling for specific tasks.</li>\n <li>Design – knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production.</li>\n <li>Interpretation of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models, for sheet metal fabrication.</li>\n <li>Production and Processing – Knowledge of raw materials used in sheet metal fabrication, production processes, bend deductions, turret punch press tooling, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods.</li>\n <li>Time management – Ability to organize tasks in order of importance and use time most effectively to complete all work promptly.</li>\n <li>Dependability – The job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and thoroughly completing all tasks.</li>\n <li>Engineering – Engineering experience/background with strong mechanical aptitude is helpful.</li>\n <li>Experience with various machinery, fabrication practices, and materials.</li>\n <li>Capable of efficiently integrating existing methods with innovation to economically solve production problems promptly.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, Amada Software, Blueprint, and GD&T reading capabilities.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a team environment where experience and collaboration are part of the culture.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Salary Range:</strong> $34.00-$37.00/hourly</p>\n<h2>Company Info</h2>\n<p><strong>About Legrand</strong></p>\n<p>Legrand is the global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures.
