ORGANIZATION SUMMARY
World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to boldly engage the world’s greatest crises in partnership with the church. The organization was founded in the aftermath of World War II to respond to the urgent humanitarian needs of war-torn Europe. POSITION SUMMARY:
World Relief seeks a Volunteer Coordinator to recruit and train new volunteers and, keeping a database of information and skills, matching volunteers to opportunities that suit their skills, keeping them informed and conveying the organizations’ purpose to the public.
This is a temporary part-time position (24 hours per week) funded through a grant agreement for up to 90 days and contingent upon funding extension.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Simulation Coordination
Coordinate and schedule refugee simulations with churches, schools, and community partners.
Deliver presentations and facilitate simulation experiences.
Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for simulations.
Maintain and update simulation materials and storytelling content.
Manage invoicing and track simulation-related payments.
Youth Program Support
Assist in the coordination and execution of Youth Programs (events, activities, logistics).
Support engagement with youth participants, volunteers, and partner churches. Help develop program activities that promote integration, learning, and community building.
Coordinate schedules, attendance tracking, and communication with families and partners.
Program & Operational Support
Support cross-department collaboration (CCE, PIR, I&W, EE).
Assist with church engagement logistics when needed.
Maintain accurate records, reporting, and internal documentation.
Provide general program support to ensure continuity during staff absence.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
Mature and personal Christian faith.
Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
Experience in volunteering and recruitment of volunteers.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to ask questions.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Outstanding written communication and presentation skills.
Strong data management and reporting skills.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-orientated with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
