Financially stable, growing and with over 30 years of experience, we have an immediate opportunity for an experienced <strong>Loader/Unloader</strong> in Cordele, GA. As a Loader/Unloader, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to load and unload trucks and move product as directed.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Safely operate forklift to transport materials to and from assigned warehouses.</li><li>Load, transport, unload and stack materials in accordance with established procedures.</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.</li><li>Move product from staging and/or storage areas into loading trailers.</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain up-to-date forklift certification.</li><li>Clean and maintain housekeeping of work areas.</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must be detail oriented and pay close attention to accuracy.</li><li>Able to work outside of normal workday, with good attendance and punctuality.</li></ul><p><strong>SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul><li>At least 1 year of warehouse experience.</li><li>Ability to obtain forklift certification.</li><li>Knowledge of safe loading and unloading procedures.</li></ul><p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to routinely bend and squat.</li><li>Ability to walk, stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.</li><li>Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.</li></ul><p><strong>BENEFITS</strong></p><p>UCW offers a competitive salary along with comprehensive benefits that include:</p><ul><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>Employer Paid Health Insurance</li><li>Dental Insurance</li><li>Vision Insurance</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>401(k) with Company matching</li></ul><p>We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
