    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p>&nbsp;</p><div><div><p><strong><ins>POSITION:&nbsp;</ins></strong> Inspector</p><p><strong><ins>SUPERVISOR:&nbsp;</ins></strong>Director</p><p><strong><ins>STATUS:&nbsp;</ins></strong>Non-Exempt</p><p><strong><ins>SUMMARY:&nbsp;</ins></strong>Performs inspections of housing units for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program in accordance with federal, state, and local building codes; and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Housing Quality Standards (HQS) requirements, including identification of potential lead hazards. May also include a range of activities related to providing customer service to HCV participants, HCV owners and stakeholders.&nbsp;</p><p><strong><ins>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:</ins></strong></p><p>The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work performed under this position. This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities or skills required. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and have excellent interpersonal skills and possess strong computer and organizational skills. &nbsp;Ability to learn, follow and apply complex regulations and procedures and &nbsp;work with Excel, Word, Outlook and agency specific data-base systems</span></p><p><strong><ins>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:</ins></strong></p><p>Must have a High School Diploma or; a minimum of two years of progressively responsible work experience for a public agency, or related work in the social service or community service field preferred.</p><p><strong><ins>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:</ins></strong></p><p>&nbsp;Must have a valid Driver&#39;s License and reliable vehicle.
