    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>The Linen Control Specialist is responsible for the daily handling, inventory, distribution, and collection of linen</p><p>items throughout the facility. This role ensures that all departments are adequately stocked with clean linen,</p><p>soiled items are promptly collected, and accurate records are maintained. The specialist plays a vital role in</p><p>supporting the smooth operation of services by ensuring timely and hygienic linen management.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>· Count, stock, and distribute clean linen to designated storage areas or departments.</p><p>· Collect soiled linen from designated areas and transport it to the laundry or staging area.</p><p>· Monitor and maintain linen par levels in assigned areas.</p><p>· Perform routine inventory checks and assist with physical inventory counts.</p><p>· Ensure proper handling and separation of clean and soiled linen in compliance with health and safety</p><p>standards.</p><p>· Report linen shortages, damages, or losses to supervisors.</p><p>· Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen rooms and carts.</p><p>· Operate linen transport equipment (e.g., carts, hampers) safely and effectively.</p><p>· Assist with receiving and restocking linen deliveries.</p><p>· Communicate with department staff regarding linen needs or concerns.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p><p>· Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks</p><p>· Frequent walking, standing, lifting, and bending required.</p><p>· Work performed in linen rooms, storage areas, and throughout the facility.</p><p>· May be exposed to soiled linen and cleaning agents.</p><p>· Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided and required where appropriate.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><p>High school diploma or GED equivalent</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications/Training:</strong></p><p>· One year of experience in linen services, inventory handling, housekeeping, or a related field preferred.</p><p>· Ability to lift, push, or pull carts and linen loads up to 50 lbs.</p><p>· Basic math skills and attention to detail for inventory counting.</p><p>· Strong organizational and time-management skills.</p><p>· Ability to follow safety protocols and infection control procedures.</p><p>· Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.</p>",
