    "requisitionDescription": "<p id=\"isPasted\">Corvid Technologies is looking for a mid-level Systems Administrator (SA) to join our team in Huntsville, AL. &nbsp;We are looking for applicants to perform tasks related to maintaining a healthy technical and cybersecurity posture for multiple Information Systems (i.e., applications, networks, devices) test environments. This position will be part of a team developing recommended courses of action needed to maintain and enforce current Risk Management Framework (RMF) policies and procedures for compliance to support our test range customers.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Support Customer ISSM &amp; ISSO by assisting with management and execution of RMF activities for various Information Systems</li><li>Provide solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of expertise and creativity. Problems are broadly defined and solutions require the continuation of specialized theories and knowledge</li><li>Drafting system-level documents, including Standard Operating Instructions (SOPs), Work Instructions (Wis), etc. &nbsp;</li><li>Support the classified incident handling process and oversee the reporting and investigation of Information System security related incidents</li><li>Support self-inspections to remediate perceived deficiencies as part of the program</li><li>Support sustainment activities, including change management, account management, auditing, media protection, user training, file transfers, etc.</li><li>Work with ISSOs, engineers, and developers to create or update system/site policies, procedures, and process guides</li><li>Support risk and vulnerability assessments of information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>B.S. degree and at least eight (8) years of experience with Cybersecurity / Information Technology, or ten (10) years of hands-on experience with Cybersecurity / Information Technology</li><li>Active DoD Secret security clearance (<u>minimum</u>)</li><li>Industry based certifications or within 90 days of hire (i.e., Security+, GSEC or SSCP preferred)&nbsp;</li><li>Willingness to perform security tasks outside specialty (e.g., program security) and be proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, etc.)</li><li>System Admin experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and current Windows OS.</li><li>Experience using Tenable Nessus/ACAS Scanning Software or equivalent</li><li>Knowledge of common security technologies competent hands-on support and configuration ability in at least one security technology (i.e., SIEM)</li><li>Experience in assessing systems using NIST 800-53,DISA STIGs and SRGs, SCAP Compliance Checker and/or STIG Viewer</li><li>Demonstrated ability to act independently, prioritize tasks, and manage schedules</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li></ul><p><strong>Travel:</strong></p><ul><li>Some occasional travel may be required (up to 20%), for example to on-site inspections or conferences.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Why Corvid:</strong></p><p>Founded in 2004, we are a group of over 300 engineers and scientists, about 3/4 with master&rsquo; degrees or Ph.D.&#39;s, that provide end-to-end solutions including concept development, design and optimization, prototype build, test and manufacture. &nbsp;We leverage the predictive capability of our high-fidelity computational physics solvers, indigenous massively parallel supercomputer system, prototyping plant, and ballistics and mechanics lab to investigate a variety of high-rate physics phenomena.&nbsp;</p><p>The results are complex engineering solutions for a variety of applications; aircraft, ballistic missile defense, cybersecurity, motorsports, armor development, biological systems, and missile and warhead design and development. &nbsp;These results are achieved with optimal design and cost efficiency due to the predictive capability of Corvid&rsquo;s tools and our in-house, end-to-end integrated approach, which differentiates Corvid from the market.</p><p>We value our people and offer employees a broad range of benefits.
