By dealing games efficiently, safeguarding the integrity of every hand, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere at the table, you ensure guests enjoy a smooth and entertaining visit. Through exceptional service, strong game knowledge, and a commitment to upholding regulatory and company standards, you bring the Live! brand to life and help make each guest’s experience truly unforgettable.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation: $4.50/hr - $5.50/hr</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Earning potential: hourly + tip rate of mid $50,000 for full-time hours.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Where You'll Make an Impact:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Dealing the game.</li>\n <li>Controlling gaming cards and equipment.</li>\n <li>Protect company assets by monitoring guests’ movements at table at all times.</li>\n <li>Analyzing customer play for cheating scams and suspicious variation in play.</li>\n <li>Engaging with guests.</li>\n <li>Paying wins/Taking losses.</li>\n <li>Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills to Help You Succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Speak English clearly, listen and follow directions.</li>\n   <li>Accurately complete paperwork and forms.</li>\n   <li>Use chips, cards, and a paddle.</li>\n   <li>Complete, perform and understand basic mathematical functions.</li>\n   <li>Perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Knowledge of:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Specified games and gaming regulations.</li>\n   <li>Money and chips designations</li>\n   <li>Theft techniques.</li>\n   <li>Company policy and procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act and internal controls.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Good hand/eye coordination.</li>\n <li>Excellent customer service and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Must-Haves:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A high school diploma or GED equivalent</li>\n <li>At least one (1) year of experience as a casino dealer OR certification from an accredited dealer school.</li>\n <li>Experience dealing at least two (2) of the following games: Black Jack, Craps or Roulette and working knowledge of novelty games.</li>\n <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>10% Walking</li>\n <li>15% Bending (from waist)</li>\n <li>75% Standing</li>\n <li>Ability to make repetitive hand motions.</li>\n <li>Use of stairs and elevators</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.</li>\n <li>Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.</li>\n <li>You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.</li>\n <li>Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule.
