We are searching for a full-time entry-level <strong>Machine Technician</strong> at our fast-paced plant in<strong> </strong>Weyauwega, WI.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Pay: $24.40-$26.00/hour</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Your Role:</strong></p>\n<p>As a Machine Technician, you will be Responsible for safely operating one or more FL/SR extrusion lines to produce high-quality zipper and film products in compliance with customer specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure personal and environmental safety.</li>\n <li>Use appropriate PPE and communicate hazards to peers and supervisors.</li>\n <li>Comply with BRCGS and GMP standards, reporting any food safety concerns immediately.</li>\n <li>Set up, start, adjust, and shut down extrusion equipment and winding systems.</li>\n <li>Perform material changeovers and assemble production components.</li>\n <li>Adjust machine parameters (heat, water, tension, winder) to maintain quality.</li>\n <li>Assist in R&D trials and troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues.</li>\n <li>Perform and document regular product quality checks using appropriate tools.</li>\n <li>Read and follow specifications, input production data accurately in systems.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with QA and rerun rejected products when necessary.</li>\n <li>Conduct daily/weekly housekeeping and equipment cleaning.</li>\n <li>Change screens, filters, and safely handle approved cleaning agents.</li>\n <li>Support co-workers and cover for breaks as needed.</li>\n <li>Train new operators as directed by leadership.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Ultimately, you will play an important part in our production process, and you will help us maintain our status in the industry by ensuring that we are making quality products. The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds.</li>\n <li>A strong desire, dedication, and determination to succeed, by continually improving skills through on-the-job training and various offered educational opportunities.</li>\n <li>Able to work 12-hour shifts, prioritize tasks, and work independently under pressure.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Icing on the cake:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or general education degree (GED) </li>\n <li>Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment or related area.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Want to know more?
