Transform.</p><p>If you thrive in the details and the big picture, this role is for you.</p><p><br></p><p>Quickparts is hiring a <strong>Urethane Tooling Technician</strong> to build and repair silicone tooling for the cast urethane process. This is a hands-on role where you will be deeply embedded in our operations &mdash; on the floor, working directly with equipment, and ensuring the highest quality in our tooling processes.&nbsp;</p><p>You will own the setup, creation, and repair of critical tooling, being a driving force behind the precision manufacturing systems that support our aerospace, medical, automotive, defense, and industrial customers.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Why This Role Matters</strong></p><p>Our specialized tooling functions are critical to customer trust, product precision, and scalable growth. As a Urethane Tooling Technician, you will:</p><p>✔ Drive the build and repair of silicone tooling for cast urethane</p><p>✔ Ensure precision and quality in master patterns and parting lines</p><p>✔ Maintain and operate specialized tooling and woodworking equipment</p><p>✔ Serve as a key hands-on expert on the production floor</p><p>✔ Guarantee adherence to rigorous safety and quality standards</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Build and repair silicone tooling for the cast urethane process</li><li>Identify direction of pull on master patterns and prep master models to establish parting lines</li><li>Operate woodworking equipment required to create parting boards</li><li>Operate silicone dispensing equipment and maintain the equipment used in tooling</li><li>Properly vent and gate parts during the tooling process</li><li>Build tooling requiring multiple slides unassisted</li><li>Repair any tooling issues that may arise</li><li>Review files and pull dimensions using required CAD software (Magics)</li><li>Adhere to all safety standards, wear required personal protective equipment, and report safety issues</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What We&rsquo;re Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED</li><li>Minimum 3 years of woodworking and Advanced Tooling/Casting experience preferred</li><li>Experienced in the use of all woodworking equipment and hand tools</li><li>Ability to review files and pull dimensions using required CAD software (Magics)</li><li>Excellent communication, reading, and writing skills, with good comprehension</li><li>Ability to perform required work unassisted</li><li>Physical capability to stand, stoop, and bend for a minimum of 8 hours per day</li><li>Manual dexterity sufficient to operate common manufacturing machinery and hand tools</li><li>Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, frequently lift up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why You&rsquo;ll Love It Here</strong></p><ul><li>Direct access to leadership and management</li><li>Real ownership &mdash; your work shapes the company&#39;s products</li><li>High-growth, global organization</li><li>Complex technical challenges</li><li>Strong culture of accountability and collaboration</li><li>Flexible work environment</li><li>Competitive compensation</li><li>401K Employer match</li><li>Excellent health and wellness benefits</li><li>Generous Paid Time Off - Recharge with ample PTO, including vacation days, sick leave, and holidays</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Celebrate Your Strengths!</strong></p><p>We believe that understanding your natural behavioral style helps ensure success for both you and Quickparts.
