The Operating Room Nurse will work alongside surgical teams to ensure that patients are receiving the best possible care and serve as a liaison between the surgical team and the patients’ families. The ideal candidate will have experience in a busy operating room environment, with a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient safety. They will also be adept at providing preoperative and postoperative care, and in handling and sterilizing surgical equipment and instruments.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>How you’ll contribute</strong></p><p>A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 48px;\"><li><p style=\"background-color: white;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(45, 55, 72);\">Assess patients prior to surgery and alleviate their concerns</span></p></li><li><p style=\"background-color: white;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(45, 55, 72);\">Ensure that all instruments are sterile and surgical equipment is in working order</span></p></li><li><p style=\"background-color: white;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(45, 55, 72);\">Assist surgical teams during operations and adjust treatment as needed</span></p></li><li><p style=\"background-color: white;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(45, 55, 72);\">Prepare the operating room for surgery by setting up surgical instruments and equipment</span></p></li><li><p style=\"background-color: white;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(45, 55, 72);\">Monitor patient vital signs during surgery and alert the surgical team to any changes</span></p></li><li><p style=\"background-color: white;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(45, 55, 72);\">Provide postoperative care and education to patients and their families</span></p></li><li><p style=\"background-color: white;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(45, 55, 72);\">Maintain accurate and detailed patient records</span></p></li><li><p style=\"background-color: white;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(45, 55, 72);\">Comply with all health and safety regulations, including sanitation and infection control procedures</span></p></li></ul><p><strong>Why join us</strong></p><p>We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
