    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Position Title:</strong></p><p>Maintenance Journeyman</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Pay Rate</strong>:</p><p>$38.56/hour</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Category/Shift</strong>:</p><p>Hourly Full-Time</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical Location:</strong></p><p>Beaverton Ink/Plate</p><p>5570 SW Western Avenue</p><p>Beaverton, OR 97005</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>The Job You Will Perform:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Work in a safe manner.</li><li>Responsible for effectively troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, adjusting, replacing, and installing plant mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other components for all equipment in a manufacturing environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Facilitate fabrication of equipment and parts through machining contractors.&nbsp;</li><li>Read prints and manuals.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate with third-party contractors as needed. &nbsp;</li><li>Lubricate and clean parts.&nbsp;</li><li>Attend meetings, participate in individual and team initiatives, and possess excellent verbal communication skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Complete personal training and support other training as required.&nbsp;</li><li>Uses computer-based programs to track work, time, and inventories.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Specific Duties:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 52.8px;\"><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">Perform all jobs safely and properly.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">Carry out preventive maintenance tasks.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">Complete work-orders in a timely and professional manner.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">Maintain shop and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">Able to work extended and odd hours during machine breakdowns.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">Operate and maintain air compressors.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">Maintain and repair mechanical fixed equipment as well as mobile equipment (forklifts).</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">Repair and install equipment.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">Maintain and repair building.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">Communicate with supervisor and production team on maintenance issues.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">Be able and willing to accept responsibility for maintaining the plant on a shift by working independently, and without other help.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">Able to manage paperwork for work orders, PM’s, and inventories as required.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">Other duties as specified by supervisor.</p></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>The Skills You Will Bring:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Valid Driver’s License required</p></li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Minimum five (5) years’ experience as a mechanic required.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Experience working with hydraulics, and pneumatics preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Working on medium to heavy manufacturing machinery preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Experience operating shop related machines and tools required.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Preventive maintenance.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Difference and usage of greases.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Application and proper amount of lubricant.</li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">This individual must be a self-motivated team player.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Willing to work overtime and flexible hours to include alternative shifts as needed.</p></li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Inspection for worn, broken, out-of-line and missing parts.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Read and understand machine manuals, and troubleshooting manuals.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Parts identification.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Operating shop machines/tools.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Drill Press</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Precision tools: micrometers, calipers, feeler gauges, dial indicators, etc.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Pump rebuilding.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Able to replace, repair, and adjust to manufacturer specifications:</li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">Bearings, seals</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">v-belts, chains</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in;
